BACHFEST 2022 Program Guide
With its theme of "We Are FAMILY" the 2022 Bachfest continues the tradition of Johann Sebastian Bach's family, who used to meet every year to celebrate and make music together. The festival program has three major components: 1) Some of today's best interpreters of Bach will be performing works by the entire Bach family 2) Choirs traveling to Leipzig from across Europe, Japan, Paraguay, Canada and the USA and will be presenting a cycle of concerts and a dozen matins services with very diverse cantata programs 3) A celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Well-Tempered Clavier with two concerts by two authorities on Bach, Angela Hewitt and Sir András Schiff |

As our Preferred Airline for the program, Lufthansa Group is providing special prices and conditions to participants and guests attending the program. The discounts are a minimum of 5-10% off Base Fares, depending on the booking class. The website link below offers an airfare search engine that you can use to select airfares on any of the Lufthansa Group partners, including code share flights on United Airlines. (Make sure you do not copy or type any leading or trailing spaces to this code.) Click "Enter" to open an online booking platform that will automatically display the discounted fare. If special promotional fares are available, these will also be shown automatically.
